ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS IN PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF PAKISTAN UNDER PAKISTAN TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME (PTAP) SESSION (2026-27)
The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Government of Pakistan, has been entrusted with the administration of the Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme (PTAP) since 1976. The Programme is designed to strengthen technical collaboration, foster goodwill, and promote human resource development among partner developing countries. Through PTAP, Pakistan has enabled thousands of international students to pursue and successfully complete higher education in its institutions, thereby contributing to capacity building and sustainable development.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs has invited applications for admission to B.Sc. Engineering and Doctor of Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) programmes offered by public sector institutions of higher education in Pakistan for the Academic Session 2026–27.
The prescribed application form may be downloaded from the Ministry of Economic Affairs website (www.ead.gov.pk). The application form should preferably be typed and submitted in quadruplicate along with attested copies of the following documents:
- Academic certificates and transcripts/ mark sheets of HSSC / or equivalent qualification
- Recent photograph passport size (4 copies)
- Copy of applicant’s passport; and
- Equivalence Certificate issued by IB
