Eid ul Fitr Message by Mr. Abdul Jabbar Memon, Consul General of Pakistan, Los Angeles, USA

I would like to extend my warmest wishes to Pakistani Origin American Community members who are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr across the West Coast of USA.

It is a great pleasure for me and my family to celebrate fourth consecutive
Eid-ul-Fitr in Los Angeles with our Pakistani American friends.

Eid-ul-Fitr is a unique occasion as it provides us an opportunity to celebrate our religion and culture in a multi-cultural and diverse society. United States of America has long been a country where people of different faiths and cultures live harmoniously.

Let us share the message of love, unity and brotherhood with our fellow human beings. While celebrating the festivities of Eid, we must not forget our brothers and sisters who are disadvantaged, deprived and suffering, particularly in Pakistan. We can bring smiles to their faces through our sentiments of love and solidarity with them.

Eid Mubarak!

June 3, 2019.
